Builds Shipping & Returns Policies
Applies to U.S. or international addresses. Due to the value and size of our instruments, we will not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Custom Instruments
Shipping: If you’re local to the Chicago area, we recommend picking up your instrument at the MachMachines shop and studio. Please email or call to arrange pickup.
If you prefer to have it shipped to you, this can be arranged at your cost for the shipping, shipping materials, insurance, and any customs, duties, or taxes.
We will tightly package the instrument, insure the shipping, and send it via USPS, UPS, or FedEx standard ground delivery. You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Damages: MachMachines is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Returns: Every custom build is collaborative, made to order, and non-refundable. Down payments are also non-refundable. However, if you experience any issues with your build, please contact us directly by email.
In-Stock Instruments

Orders are processed within five business days. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or phone.

Returns: We stand by the quality of our instruments. However, if you purchase an in-stock instrument and it does not meet your expectations, you can return it—provided it is not damaged—within 15 calendar days of delivery confirmation for a refund of the cost of the instrument, minus any shipping costs. Headphone Stands, Straps & Pick Pouches
Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping, shipping materials, and any customs, duties, or taxes.
Orders are processed within three business days. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or phone.
We will send your order via USPS, UPS, or FedEx standard ground delivery. You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Note: headphone stands cannot be sent to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Merch Shipping & Returns Policies
Applies to U.S. or international addresses, P.O. boxes, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Shipping: Each item is made-to-order and shipped by our third-party print vendor. Items typically ship within five business days. The shipping cost is calculated at the time of order and included in your payment.
Damages: Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items or packages lost in transit must be submitted to MachMachines by email within 15 days after the delivery (or estimated delivery date in the case of items lost in transit). We will then handle next steps with our print vendor on your behalf.
Returns: All orders are final and non-refundable unless damaged or defective. We do not accept size/color exchanges.
*Note that different policies may apply to anything ordered via Reverb or Etsy.
